- Policies and Shipping Bird Toy Safety: Please supervise your bird(s) with all new toys to ensure safe play. No toy is ever completely bird safe. Our toys are constructed with some of the best parts available, but this does not guarantee safety. Parts can be torn off, can fray or can be broken, creating a hazardous situation. Always purchase toys appropriate for your birds size and species. All the toys we make and carry have been made with non-toxic parts. This means: All metals used are either stainless steel or nickel-plated All wooden parts containing dye have been dyed using a human-grade food dye. All parts have been examined for defects prior to shipment All parts meet or exceed the Feathered Addictions safety standards. Support Greyhaven: 5% of all sales (yes, this includes sales and clearance) goes to support Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary located in BC. Please visit their website to learn more about their programs, including their adoption program at www.greyhaven.bc.ca Taxes and Currency Prices are in Canadian dollars. 5% GST will be added to all orders in Canada and BC residents will also be charged 7% PST. Payment Options All orders must be paid by PayPal or cash on pick-up. PayPal is a secure payment method, where only PayPal has your credit card and/or bank information. Through PayPal, you may pay using automatic bank withdrawal, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you do not currently have a PayPal account, setting one up is fast and easy! Sorry, I do not accept cheques or money orders at this time. Shipping/Delivery Options Pick-up: Available for residents in the Vancouver lower mainland. Pick up location is in North Burnaby. Please contact me for available delivery days. Delivery: We can deliver packages within the Vancouver lower mainland. The cost for this service is $10 regardless of how much you order and we typically deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. If you purchase $100 or more and live within this delivery area, the delivery charge is free! The delivery area includes the following cities: Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Port Moody, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. Canada Post: We ship all packages outside the Vancouver lower mainland via Canada Post. Shipping is calculated on actual shipping cost with no packaging cost. We ship either Expedited Parcel or ExpressPost (where order will fit into flat rate envelope) to all locations throughout Canada. In the US, Small Packet or Expedited Parcel will be used. If the shipping for your order is less than the shipping charged through PayPal, then a refund will be given. If you require a specific shipping method, please contact me and I will provide you with the shipping cost based on your preference. Insurance is available upon request at a cost of $1 per $100. Returns: If you purchase any product from us and it arrives to you defective or damaged, upon return of item, we will refund you in full for item (less shipping).
